About us
ADDINOL lubricants bear the ‘Made in Germany’ seal of quality. It stands for quality, efficiency, precision and therefore for excellent, reliable products. Many of our high-performance lubricants enable the use of technical innovations. They also help to use energy more efficiently and demonstrably reduce its consumption.
With over 650 different products, ADDINOL offers lubricating oils, greases, pastes and sprays for the automotive and industrial sectors. Development focusses on the product groups of low-friction engine oils for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, gas engine oils, industrial gear oils, high-temperature chain oils and turbine oils.
ADDINOL Lube Oil GmbH is one of the few independent, medium-sized companies in the German mineral oil industry that is represented by sales partners on all continents. In addition to the production and company headquarters at the chemical site in Leuna, the company has twelve sales locations worldwide.

ADDINOL Eco Gear series
ADDINOL Eco Gear oils are state-of-the-art. They have been developed in close co-operation with leading institutes, gear and plant manufacturers – specifically tailored to the complex requirements of modern gears of all construction types. ADDINOL Eco Gear M and S adapt to changing load conditions in the toothing and increase its load carrying capacity; they achieve a targeted prevention of micro-pitting and pitting and even re-smooth pre-damaged surfaces.
ADDINOL high-performance chain oils
ADDINOL chain oils are specialized for high-temperature applications. Based on synthetic components with special additives they are suitable for thermally highly loaded conveyor chains, rollers or drive belts as they are found in continuous ovens, dryers, film stretching lines or press lines. Due to intensive development work ADDINOL chain oils have become true specialists in industries like metal industry, wood-processing industry, plastics industry, glass industry, food industry and textile industry.
ADDINOL high-performance greases
ADDINOL PLUS greases: a series of new greases with optimised formulations thanks to targeted development work. The greases based on polyurea, PTFE or lithium special soap are characterised by improved technical parameters and extraordinarily high quality of the base oils and additive technologies used. They achieve higher performance, increase the efficiency of the plants and are versatile in use.
